New Pandigital eReader Comes With ePaper Display

Pandigital has a new eReader and this one comes with a new ePaper display. The Pandigital Novel Personal eReader, the latest in the Pandigital Novel line of eReaders, will be available for $199 at various retailers this month.

Sipex/AUO designed the new ePaper display, which has a touchscreen interface, a unique feature not usually found in eInk screens. It is 6 inches with a 600 x 800 resolution and weighs 9 ounces.

Like the other Pandigital eReaders, the device comes integrated with the Barnes & Noble eBookstore.

In August, Pandigital released a tablet eReader called the Novel, which retails for $200.
