Next Issue, a magazine subscription service that works for magazines the way Netflix works for movies, is now available as an iPad app.

Like Netflix users have access to a catalog of movies and TV shows for a monthly subscription fee, Next Issue readers can become subscribers to have full access to the app’s catalog of magazines. The basic plan for $9.99 a month includes access to Traveler, Esquire, Real Simple, and Wired, among many others. The premium level membership, which costs $14.99 a month, adds access to weekly magazines including: The New Yorker, People and Sports Illustrated. The app is currently offering a free one month trial period.
