Next Issue is a new Android app for reading magazines that features digital editions of a number of popular magazines including: Better Homes and Gardens, Condé Nast Traveler, Esquire, Elle, Fortune, Glamour, Parents, People, Popular Mechanics, Real Simple, Sports Illustrated, TIME, The New Yorker, and Vanity Fair.

The app is featured on this week’s edition of AppSlap, a new video series on apps from SocialTimes. We’ve embedded the video above, so that you can check out the app in action.

Here is more about the app from SocialTimes: “Much like their print counterparts, the digital magazines can be packaged into monthly subscriptions or sold individually. Each issue is enhanced for the tablet experience with videos, Twitter feeds, and other interactive features; and can be saved on the device for offline reading.”

According to the Next Issue website, the app is coming to the iPad soon.
