OverDrive To Demo Digital Library Books At National Book Fest

OverDrive’s Digital Bookmobile will demonstrate how to download digital books from public libraries at the 2010 National Book Festival in D.C. later this month.

The demonstration will happen on Saturday, September 25, from 10 -5:30 p.m. on the National Mall in Washington, DC. OverDrive has had an active summer going around the country promoting eBooks in libraries in its 18-wheeler digital bookmobile.

According to OverDrive, eBook circulation is up 170 percent since 2009.

Following the D.C. event, the bookmobile is making more stops across the country. Follow this link to find a stop near you.
