PayPal Update Lets You Use Your Phone to Pay In Physical Stores

PayPal has updated its mobile apps and added a feature that lets you pay with your phone in local shops and restaurants.

The new feature lets users search the app by their location to find businesses in their area that accept PayPal app payments. Users can see how far these businesses are located from their current location, as the tool taps into the location tool on the phone.

The user can show their phone at the register and explain that they are paying with PayPal and then they are given the option to do so using the app. As with any PayPal purchase, a user can select which bank account or credit card to use. The app even features coupons on items at featured businesses.
