Google Reader is getting close to shutting down. But have no fear, FlowReader a web-based personalized news reader is here. “We believe content curation shouldn’t be a chore. Life is meant for living, not organizing,” boasts the company’s site.
The new service, which launched today lets you curate news feeds from your social media timelines and from RSS feeds. The service is set up to automatically import all of your existing Google Reader feeds so that you won’t lose your already established feeds.
In addition, with FlowReader you can combine your RSS feeds with feeds from your Facebook and Twitter timelines. The service lets you filter this content as well, so for example, you can see RSS content feeds separately from and your social content or you can keep them together.
