Rachael Ray’s New Book Deal Includes Digital Plans

Celebrity chef  Rachael Ray has left Random House and signed a three-book deal with Simon & Schuster’s imprint Atria.

GalleyCat has more: “With the new contract Ray will also curate her own series of books written by other chefs and food writers under the banner ‘Rachael Ray Presents.’ This will include both print and digital titles.”

Ray expressed enthusiasm about the digital projects in a statement in the press release: “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Atria Books. They are the perfect partner for me to collaborate with in bringing books to life for our readers in many new ways – especially on the digital front. And the ‘Rachael Ray Presents,’ imprint will allow me to continue to develop new, emerging talent and help them to bring their content directly to consumers.”
