Safari Books Online, a digital imprint for business books, has released an iPad app. The app gives Safari Books Online subscribers access to their library either online or for download.

This expands Safari’s app offerings, which already include an iPhone app, a Blackberry app and an app for Android-based smartphones.

The Safari To Go iPad app includes an updated search engine, free trials and subscriptions, access to sample content of each eBook for non-subscribers, bookmarking tools and cached book content for offline reading.
