‘Sh*t My Dad Says’ Is Most Popular Library Download In October
Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern was the most downloaded nonfiction eBook from libraries in October, according to OverDrive, an eBook distributor for digital books that distributes eBooks to 11,000 library branches throughout the U.S.
Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang by Chelsea Handler were the second and third most popular downloads.
Stieg Larsson’s Millenium trilogy topped the most popular adult fiction downloads. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was No. 1. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest was No. 2 and The Girl Who Played with Fire was No. 3.
Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga titles were the most popular downloads for the juvenile fiction category with Twilight at No. 1, Breaking Dawn at No. 2 and Eclipse at No. 3.
Michael Pollan’s The Omnivore’s Dilemma topped the library downloads in October in the juvenile nonfiction category, followed by Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson at No. 2 and 1,001 Facts About Dinosaurs by Neil Clark and William Lindsay at No. 3.
