Online magazine Slate has redesigned its iPad app. The revamp includes a new presentation of the app’s images, videos and interactive features, and the app’s homescreen now highlights the latest articles and blog posts from the site.

In addition, readers can now comment on articles and read other comments. The app has also adopted the site’s personalization tool. MySlate, which is now called Slate Favorites, lets readers follow their favorite authors and columns, as well as save articles to read later. This personalization tool can be synced across the website and the iPad app.

The publisher also has plans for an update that will let readers access the Slate archives. It is coming soon.
