StubHub, an online concert ticket marketplace, has released a new Spotify app that lets you explore events in your area as you are streaming live music.
“This latest partnership with Spotify represents how StubHub is now thinking about innovation. More than selling tickets, we are focused on partnering with the most creative companies in the industry to give our users an even more seamless and interesting ways to discover music and experience live events,” stated Chris Zachos, senior product manager, at StubHub.
To install the app, you must search the ”App Finder” drop down in the window in the left rail of the Spotify app. Once you add the app, it will access your location to recommend events within a 50 mile radius of your local city to suggest events that you might like to attend based on the kind of music you listen to. So far, this is only available for desktop Spotify users and doesn’t work on the Spotify mobile app.
