The submission deadline for the Tabby Awards/Business has been extended to to Monday, October 22 at 11:59 pm EST. Follow this link to enter your business app–the new award will celebrate the best business-related apps created for iPad, Android or Windows 8 tablets.

Here’s more from the release: “A jury of tablet professionals will select the best amongst apps submitted to the competition. The Tabby Awards are platform-agnostic and welcome submissions on the iOS, Android and Windows 8 platforms … Your work or company app may certainly belong to one of our 14 categories. It will be vetted by a jury of 12 tablet professionals, chaired by Alan Masarek, co-founder of QuickOffice – the best selling Business app for iPad.”

The winning apps will be revealed at the first Tabby Awards ceremony at the TabletBiz conference & expo in New York City on November 27. The award was created by TabTimes, the B2B publication covering the tablet industry. They will hold a competition for consumer apps at a later date.
