Reagan Arthur, an imprint of Little, Brown and Company, is publishing its first news oriented eBook original this month. The publisher announced plans today to publish The Life and Legend of Chris Kyle: American Sniper, Navy SEAL by journalist Michael J. Mooney straight to digital on April 23.

The book tells the story of Chris Kyle, a well-known Navy SEAL who was tragically killed by another veteran back in February. Here is the book’s description from the publisher’s website:

A subject that continues to capture the attention of the American public, Kyle’s full story has yet to be told. His heroism and reuptation in the military service earned him the nickname ‘The Devil of Ramadi’ among insurgents, and his impact extended beyond that after he came home, through his work with fellow veterans.

Little, Brown and Company acquired the world rights for the eBook in all languages from literary agent David Patterson of Foundry Literary + Media. The deal includes an audiobook edition from Hachette Audio.
