The German Kindle Store is Almost Open

A new page went live on amazon.de late yesterday afternoon.  There’s no content yet, but it’s pretty clear that this is going to be a Kindle Store. Check out the screenshot:

We’ve known for some time  that this would happen. Amazon has posted a couple jobs based in Germany which were related to the Kindle content, and there’s already some German language eBooks in the US Kindle Store. This was really a matter of when, not if.
