29 June, 2007,  was the day the smartphone market changed. That’s the day the first iPhones came into the hands of consumers. Since that day over 200 million iPhones (and countless imitators) have been sold.

The following infographic comes fromStatista and it reveals some startling statistics. For example, I didn’t realize that Apple generates more income from the iPhone than Microsoft makes from its entire business. In fact, over half of Apple’s revenue comes from the iPhone.
