The Kindle 4 Rumors Have Started

An Italian Kindle owner I know has tipped me to the first speculation on the K4 (image via).

The rumors are on Kindle Italy, an Italian language blog. The blog doesn’t cite any sources for its musings, which makes them the best kind. You can enjoy the speculation without having to take them seriously.

So the K4 could run Android on a 7″ LCD screen. According to Kindle Italy, it might also drop the keyboard in favor of a touchscreen. The proposed release date is Q4 2011.

Do you know what? The K4 is already on the market. It’s called an Android tablet.
