The Telegraph Will Launch A Paywall This Fall
The Telegraph is rumored to be planning a paywall, which would launch around September. Marketing Magazine reported a few days ago that The Telegraph is talking to several web developers about overhauling Telegraph.co.uk, which features editorial content from The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph.
This new paywall is supposed to follow the freemium model. Visitors will be allowed to view a limited number of articles for free before being asked to subscribe. There’s no work yet on the price that The Telegraph might set for the paywall, or even confirmation that it will happen.
