Magazine publisher Time Out Group has introduced a new universal iPhone app.
The free app replaces Time Out’s individual city apps, and instead serves location-based information through a single one app. The app includes recommendations for places to visit in New York, Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, and Paris.
The public participated in Time Out’s redesign and their feedback was incorporated into the redesign. The new app also gives Time Out new advertising outlets. Here is more detail about the app from the press release: “With one app representing Time Out globally, marketing and advertising campaigns on the platform now work on a global scale. The app delivers additional digital revenue opportunities offering flexible advertising units, restaurant reservations, tickets, and special offers through a newly designed check-out system.”
