Tony Hawk Has New Children’s Book Series

Legendary skater Tony Hawk has lent his name to a new line of children’s books from Capstone Publishing. Tony Hawk’s 900 Revolution, is a new sci-fi adventure series inspired by Tony Hawk’s famous 900 trick — a 2.5 revolution (900 degrees) aerial spin.

The books will come out in August, but in advance of the release, the company is launching an interactive website for kids on May 23rd. The site will feature a game in which players are sent on a global quest for missing skateboard pieces, as well as videos, and character and author bios.

The project will extend through spring 2014, culminating  with 24 titles in total.
