Twitter has updated its iOS and Android apps. The new iPad app update includes a number of new features such as the ability to expand tweets by touching them to see images, videos and web pages in full screen mode. In addition, the newly updated app includes the ability to track who has followed you or retweeted one of your tweets.
Twitter announced the updates on the company blog today. Check it out: “Tap into a stream of useful and entertaining information personalized for you. Read news stories that are popular within your network, see which Tweets and accounts are favorited and followed by the people you know, see what topics are trending, and find great new accounts to follow.”
The app also includes a new header photo feature in which you can change your profile photo using the app. The new Android and iPhone apps also includes the new feature header photo update, as well as the updated photo streams for profiles display update in which users can swipe left or right through thumbnails in a photo stream to view them in fullscreen mode.
