Wattpad, the world’s most social eBook community, announced today that they are expanding their mobile presence with a new app for the HP Touchpad. This app will will be available in time for the launch of the Touchpad in Summer 2011.

“The TouchPad application will be the first application designed specifically for the HP Palm product line. We continue to see strong uptake on our existing tablet offering and are looking forward to connecting readers as new tablet offerings become available,” explains Allen Lau, CEO and co-founder of Wattpad.

Also known as the Youtube for eBooks, the Wattpad’s apps are downloaded more than a million times each month from over 1000 different devices. The Wattpad iOS app is currently listed as one of the Top 100 iOS Apps of All Time. The  Wattpad BlackBerry app has been the number one free reading app on BlackBerry’s App World for over a year.
