Circulation: 102,000 Background: When it launched in 1974 as a tape trading publication, Dead Relix only served one readership: fans of the Grateful Dead. Since dropping the word 'dead' from the publication's title in 1977 and shifting its focus to live music, Relix not only shifted readership to fit a wider audience, but also "blossomed" and changed significantly when Steve Bernstein bought the magazine in 2000, according to editor Josh Baron. Under the since-folded Zenbu Media, Bernstein, along with a new staff, changed and expanded the music magazine's editorial content.
