After months of debate, we may finally know who will moderate Meet The Press: David Gregory, NBC's chief White House correspondent. Tim Russert's replacement reportedly beat out big names including Katie Couric, Ted Koppel, Andrea Mitchell, Gwen Ifill, and Chuck Todd. The deal's not done -- NBC PR denied (twice!) the report to Politico's Michael Calderone (although network execs confirmed it with Mike Allen) -- but chances look good that Gregory will sit in the chair when interim moderator Tom Brokaw steps down after this weekend's interview with President-elect Barack Obama...
