Playboy Fills CEO Spot; News Corp. Names New No. 2

According to the Chicago Tribune , Freedom Communications Inc. president and CEO Scott Flanders will join Playboy Enterprises as CEO. The position has been empty since Christie Hefner, daughter of Hugh, stepped down in January. Since then, the company moved its editorial operations to Chicago, appointed Jimmy Jellinek editorial director of the magazine and Web site while dumping Christopher Napolitano, and has been rumored to be on the market. Print and digital revenue dropped 26 percent in the first quarter of 2009, so Flanders obviously has some work ahead of him...
