In an effort to further corner the parenting market, Bonnier Corp purchases Conceive. The move positions the publishing company with three baby-focused books -- Parenting and Babytalk are the others -- as Condé Nast gets out of the game by closing Cookie. Speaking of Condé, more than 15 people were let go from its digital unit and 16 Brides staffers lost their jobs -- and wrote about the cut -- just days after the media giant parted ways with 180 employees.
