4 Things Every Resume Should Have

Time and time again, hiring managers say that a strong, compelling resume is the first entry to a better position. But, with the economy still recovering and coveted positions scarce, it will take more than just changing dates and employer information to get a media gatekeeper's attention.

Take Alyson Shontell, for example. When the then college senior applied for a marketing manager position at Google, she knew she had to do something unique to stand out.
