Fox Mole 'Blacklisted'; Buzzfeed's Newest Meme-Maker

Joe Muto, the Fox News mole, went rogue because he felt he was blacklisted by his job. "The truth of the matter is, I was blackballed within the industry... hiring managers see Fox News on your resumé and say, 'This guy's a conservative. This guy's a nut. We don't want him in our organization.' I was completely blackballed within the cable news industry," he told Howard Kurtz. Fortunately for Muto, his low place on the totem pole meant he hadn't signed a non-disclosure agreement. (That will be changed, you have to think.) Muto says he's fine with his cable news career being over, but odds are he'll surface somewhere soon. First up (we suspect): book deal...

Buzzfeed grabs another meme-maker. Stacy Lambe, the creator of Texts from Hilary and I'm With Kanye, joins Ben Smith's hulking behemoth of Internet tendencies. The real question is whether Buzzfeed hired the creator of HasBuzzFeedHiredAnyoneNewToday.tumblr.com. (And if not, why not?)... Kristina Dechter leaves her gig as editor-in-chief of FOAM to helm TheSylish, a new YouTube channel produced by Magical Elves and InStyle. Sari Tuschman, who had been EIC of Los Angeles Confidential, jumps to the top of the FOAM masthead...

Gregg Hano leaves his job as Bonnier Corp's SVP of corporate sales and the technology group for a gig as CEO of Mag+. Staffan Ekholm, who founded the smartphone and tablet publishing platform, goes back to Sweden to work on international expansion and business development. Bonnier Corp. spun off Mag+ into a separate company within parent Bonnier AB last year... Kim Roberts Hedgpeth departs as co-national executive director of SAG-AFTRA. The departure of the 31-year AFTRA veteran seems like a by-product of the two unions merging, a vote that occurred last month. David White is the national executive director with Ken Howard and Roberta Reardon serving as co-presidents... WINK-TV in Fort Myers loses three reporters... And there are changes at Hearst Magazines International, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and more...
