The Wall Street Journal announces the crew that will replace Walt Mossberg on the personal tech beat. Geoffrey Fowler, the former China-based correspondent who moved to San Francisco in 2009, will handle the reviewing and columnist duties along with Joanna Stern. She comes from ABC News, where she had been technology editor and product reviewer, and plans to focus on the video space in her new gig. Additionally, NBC News Digital's Wilson Rothman takes over as personal technology editor, while Nathan Olivarez-Giles joins from the Verge to start a blog about personal tech and work as a web producer. He has also been at the Los Angeles Times and Wired...

The CQ Roll Call masthead continues to undergo massive reinvention. The publication plans to expand its partnership with Thomson Reuters in 2014 and promotes three staffers, including Randy Walerius and Peter Feltman, as a result. Additionally, Kiernan Sharpe joins as banking and finance editor with Bloomberg News' Stephen Walsh coming on as well. Meanwhile, Sujata Mitra moves to the Huffington Post. She was previously in charge of the publisher's Men's Group... Who will run The New York Times Magazine? No one seems to know, and the choice is going to be one of Jill Abramson's hardest so far. Deputy editors Lauren Kern and Joel Lovell are reportedly in the running, and Jodi Kantor might be, too, although she denies the possibility. Presumed successors Bruce Hedlam and Sam Sifton are busy with other projects. Elsewhere, Eleanor Randolph steps down from her editorial board position to focus on her Bloomberg biography.

"CBS This Morning" poaches Cari Strassberg from ABC, where she was a producer for “Good Morning America.” Strassberg will be a senior producer at CBS. HLN taps the brains of Keith Brown, Kari Kim, and Adrienne Lopez in various programming executive positions... He had been SVP of AOL Advertising, and his new position signals the company's renewed commitment to finding revenue streams all across the globe. A number of other executives move into the newly created "category development officer" positions...
