Rosie O'Donnell returns to where she belongs, in a co-host's chair at The View. She left in 2007, but will join Whoopi Goldberg and two to-be-named co-hosts in the fall. It will be interesting to see who the producers recruit, as O'Donnell has a history of battling with her partners in crime, namely Elisabeth Hasselbeck. One name that keeps surfacing is Meghan McCain, daughter of John McCain, who could provide the conservative viewpoint. There's also speculation that O'Donnell coming back means executive producer Bill Geddie might be moving on, although an ABC spokesperson told TVNewser that he's "the EP and is under contract with ABC."...

Travel + Leisure will lose editor-in-chief Nancy Novogrod after 21 years. She plans to write a book and travel for fun. Keith Kelly sees her departure as another move in the "exodus" from Time Inc., which purchased T+L last year as part of the deal for American Express Publishing. Fun fact: Once upon a time, Novogrod replaced Anna Wintour at House & Garden... Kevin Martinez leaves Details for floundering Maxim, where he'll serve as publisher. After he announced his decision, Condé Nast security escorted him from the building immediately. Maxim still has no top editor, with owner Sardar Biglari doing the job for now... The New York Times builds out its Styles section, poaching Katie Rosman from The Wall Street Journal. She'll write a monthly column about digital lifestyle. The WSJ also loses Rachel Dodes, a film reporter who takes a job at Twitter, liaising between the social network and movies... WaPo hires Josh Sternberg as content strategist in its Brand Studio. The former Digiday writer will oversee the native and branded content...

Paul Whitlatch leaves Scribner for Hachette Books, where he'll be senior editor. He spent the last six years at the Simon & Schuster imprint, where he worked with authors including James Franco and David Goodwillie... Sarah Gilbert moves from NPR's Marketplace to Weekend Edition, where she'll be supervising senior editor... Mike Dean jumps to ABC, where he'll "lead programmatic and data-driven advertising sales." He had been at Videology... Bob Moser, Ben Pershing and Daniel Newhauser join National Journal as senior editor, Washington editor and Congress reporter, respectively... And there are changes at Niche Media, Reader's Digest and more...
