After sounding off on the doom and gloom scenario that is the state of Internet media in 2009 and beyond -- ad revenue down 40 percent, etc. -- Nick Denton took action to save Gawker Media. The online publisher's Silicon Valley blog, Valleywag, will be folded into Gawker. Starting in December, Owen Thomas will pen stories for Gawker, a fate he ironically predicted in a post about his boss' essay earlier this week.
