Hachette, Rodale Restructure Mag Operations To Stay Solvent

Two major, multi-title magazine publishers announced serious restructurings this week: Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. will reorganize its stable of women's magazines in an effort to stay in the black. The publishers of Ellehope to get beyond "print audiences" and, presumably, make money in the new space. Three "chief brand officers" will oversee different groups of magazines, while four women's mag EICs gain the title of VP, brand content.
