So much for the late summer slowdown. Office Pirates is dead, shelter mag darling Dwell has lost its editor and shaken up its staff, and we're just catching up all of the book publishing movement that's taken place despite summer hours... So, yes: surprising no one, Office Pirates has sunk. Despite the collection of vintage Dennis Publishing talent, including Mark Golin and Mark Remy, the pirates never gained traction with passive-aggressive white-collar slackers who were busy watching YouTube. Golin will return to being a roaming editor-at-large, while Time Inc. attempts to find new ports ...
