$10,000 a Month to Tweet About Wine? Where Do We Sign Up?
It sounds too good to be true, but it's for real: Sonoma winery Murphy-Goode wants to pay someone $10K a month (plus lodging) to tweet, blog, and Facebook (is that a verb yet?) about their wines for six months starting in August.
Among the job requirements: Explore the vineyard, taste the wines, and work with the winemaker to create a new wine "to commemorate your job with us." Oh yeah.
Additional duties may include: Testing potential picnic sites. Check. Playing Liar's Dice in the Barrel Room. Check. Tracking local owl and raptor populations. Say what? OK, whatev's.
Interested? Better act quickly. Applications are due by June 19. Oh, and get this: Your cover letter? It's a 60-second video. Yuh hunh.
