U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu visited Google headquarters in Mountain View.

The Wall Street Journal looks back at the earliest days of Twitter, through a conversation held by co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone at Startup School at U.C. Berkeley last weekend.

In the wake of Yahoo's decision to shutter Geocities, Valleywag takes a look back at Google's nascent days, shortly after it was turned down by Yahoo for investment dollars. Instead, Sergey Brin and Larry Page got $100,000 from Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim, while Yahoo poured $3.5 billion into the doomed Geocities. Dollar for dollar, not the best decision.

Valleywag also goes through great pains today to point out some of Brin's quirks.
