10 months ago I wrote an article for NYLON Magazine and I still haven't been paid.
I recently read an article in WWD that mentioned several lawsuits against NYLON for this exact matter. Not surprised, it prompted me to contact them only to be ignored. (In another topic in this forum titled, ''What to do if you don't get paid?'', a response reads ''contact the Accounts Payable Dept.'' Well, at NYLON, that department is totally elusive. Perhaps this creates a new topic: What to do if the A.P. Dept. ignores you?)

Now that my invoice is nearly 1 year overdue and being that the $$ is no longer an issue (I have a full-time job as an editor at a well-known newspaper and believe me, I am not the only person that has learned the hard way that NYLON doesn't pay), I am finally getting my lawyer involved and am pursuing (yet another) lawsuit against the publication.

It's unfortunate. Prior to this, I have always enjoyed NYLON. What are they thinking?
