| julestei | Posted – 2/27/2006 3:19:35 AM | show profile so, ASME has heard... any idea when conde or time/life is sending out their letters? and what's the deal with fairchild? i hear there's a big meeting in NYC and you get to interview there, but i'm in europe for the semester, so does that mean i have no chance? |
| hopscotch39 | Posted – 3/7/2006 12:44:19 AM | show profile For Time Editorial Internships, the acceptance letters should arrive no later than the end of March. I don't know when people should be hearing back for other sorts of Time internships. |

I was put on the ASME standby list and I won't hear from them til March 31. As for the Time Editorial internship, I hope they contact us soon... cause the waiting is killing me! Good Luck! :) |

It all came by email. the subject line was ''Time Inc Editorial Internship Program/ offer'' and it basically said ''Congratulations! You've been selected out of 500 applicants as one of our 51 interns.'' Then it detailed all the particulars of the program: placement, pay, housing, etc. has ANYONE heard from Conde yet?! geeze! |

I can't imagine all of the people tuned-in enough to be on MB and ED would be passed over for the program. Last year at this time, I had interviewed by now, but I didn't hear back about getting the internship until mid MAY. Exxxxcruciating. And that was in relatively calm times. Now, they're trying to merge in the Fairchild pubs, deal with Cargo closing, and scrambling to get the new business title off the ground... so I bet HR is swamped right now. Hang in there and I wish the best of luck to all of you! |

I got an internship working for the CN Media Group. They said they will be sending out packets via snail mail around the 1st of May. I'm super excited and can't wait to get to NY! |
