Think mediabistro is the only game in town for media professionals? Not quite. A recently-formed social group of young, DC journalists will meet Monday, April 17, at The Reef in Adams Morgan. Though we hail from different parts of the country, and work in a variety of media, we all share a passion for writing and reporting- and, of course, the occasional drink. If you?re interested in joining us, swing by The Reef Monday night around 7 p.m., or for more information email this poster off the board. Cheers.

Come one, come all
Thanks for your interest in our group. Yes, we do meet regularly and yes we do have an e-mail list. Please shoot me an email and I'll add your name to the list. As far as what constitutes a "young journalist," we do not have a formal constitution or anything like that, so it's really up to you. I think I speak for all the members, though, when I say this is a group for journalists in the early stages of their careers. That can apply to students preparing to graduate or career changers who have recently come to the field.
