Theory of Light This unique workshop will allow you get up close and person with the equipment used to capture award winning images.
With over 15 years of experience in the photographic industry, Westcott technical advisor David Piazza has had the unique opportunities of work one on one with the most renowned photographs in our industry. David will walk you step by step through the basics of image capture and lighting into some of the most desired and difficult lighting techniques.

Quality and importance of light and exposure in photography.
Exposure calculations using both the cameras exposure system and a flash meter; including step by step use of a calibration target.
Posing techniques through the use of live demonstrations and models.
Discussion and illustration of different types of lighting products, photoflood bulbs and reflectors, portable electronic flash, studio flash and new continues light sources.
How to control light using numerous types of light modifiers.
