I am organizing my portfolio.

My media placements range from the year 2000 to now...as in this week.

Should I organize by year or importance of media outlet...I have from NY Times; USA Today to NY1 to New York magazine. Or can I mix it up?

Should I limit number of clips to ten?

Yes, I have done this before but this is a seriously important potential client so I'm nervous.

Thank you for any advice.

Hi Ellen, I would suggest organizing your portfolio by year, only because it reinforces the fact that your media contacts are current.
Good luck!

I always put most recent, most impressive on top, and then add a page with titles and year issue as a list to showcase the success we had placing stories.
