I have thick, wavy, fluffy hair with a hairstyle that looks best when flat ironed. However, I get up early and don't have the energy to style my hair in the morning.
I am ready to splurge on Japanese hair straightening. Has anyone out there had any good or bad experiences with this procedure?

i hear hiro haraguchi is good. whatever you do, do NOT go to haime munoz. his straightening turned my hair into a horrible cotton candy poodle afro that i couldn't run a brush through. i know of other women who have had similar problems there too. if i were you i would splurge on someone reputable and ask about their policies if you need touch-ups or something.

It really works. Only catch is that it's very expensive - I can't find anyone to do it for less than $300
