Love to hear anything. Any advise you are willing to share? Its an energy tech topic. Thanks!

That's a tough one. The only reason I say that is because I worked on numerous projects with them. I think your best best is to figure out exactly which correspondent you want to pitch to. The correspondents have about 5 producers and about 5 associate producers working for them. Going the producer route is the best way to do it. Correspondents are rarely there anyway, they're mostly out shooting, or whatever else.

TV Chick has it right. There are too many producers for this program to play "dartboard" with. Depending on what the true story angle is for what you're describing as energy tech (science, business start-up, government regulations, profile of a business leader, etc.) your pitch should be to a particular set of producers. I had success pitching a particular client and their projects but it took some research and, ultimately, I pitched them by both email and phone and asked flat-out "are you the right desk and producer for this story or do you have a recommendation?"

great thanks! I was planning on e-mail and phone follow up to 2 specific producers, I am glad to hear its the way to go - and that it is possible. Still, its a bit nerve racking lol.
