MONTPELIER, Vt. ? Vermont senators voted Friday to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, saying their actions have raised "serious questions of constitutionality."

The nonbinding resolution was approved 16-9 without debate _ all six Republicans in the chamber at the time and three Democrats voted against it.

Bush and Cheney's actions in the U.S. and abroad, including in Iraq, "raise serious questions of constitutionality, statutory legality, and abuse of the public trust," the resolution reads

I wish our Congress has such balls. The administration and their cronies have lied enough. At this point, the best I'm hoping for is that all the voters remember this and vote accordingly in the next election.

Truthfully - these parasites should stand trial next week. It's disgusting. Bush is already planning another escalation of troops. The asshole just keeps throwing young blood on his mess. Lock the creep up!

Impeachment would be far too good for these people. Nixon was the impeachment guy. The gang we have in power now is much much worse.

I've always liked Vermont. Beautiful villages, killer ice cream, fine maple syrup, and lots and lots of good ol' Yankee common sense. Shame more politicians don't have it.
