Anyone know of any good recruiters for freelance writers?
I am a copywriter who specializes in the beauty market and would love to make some new contacts.
Thanks!

I have several copywriting positions with a Boston area advertising agency. They aren't freelance though. If interested, let me know! I have junior, mid, and senior level, need agency experience.

thx!

I've never heard of a recruiter who handles freelance writing positions.

Recruiters for freelance writers? Perhaps you mean agents? Or a temporary agency?

I'm not aware of recruiters who specialize or even handle freelance writers - that's a function that's usually handled by agents. I've had a number of agents contact me for magazine work but they've almost all been out of London. The agents who've contacted me from within the US is almost always about books - ghostwriting or biography work.

If it's copywriting, that's completely different and there are recruiting agencies that specialize in both perm and contract creative placement. I don't do contract though, and am not familiar with NY agencies.
