Is there an easy way to find out who the media contacts are for large companies? An online database perhaps... Normally I just dig through corporate Web sites, but that's time consuming and sometimes still unfruitful. Just curious...

WhoRepsWhat.com is working to do this...
but it focuses on fashion & beauty only.

Do you know how effective whorepswhat.com is? I work in fashion pr (in house for a small line) and was excited to come across it (thanks to you), however I would be interested to know how fast it's catching on. I tried doing searches for some random lines and nothing came up.

Thanks for the lead.

If we all signed up for this site, it would become much more effective.

I think it's a great idea and I've posted it on my Yahoo board for NYC-based PR pros of all levels for everyone to join. The concept is a good one, instead of searching individual websites.
