I'm coordinating an audience for a PBS special lecture on sleeping. If you're having trouble sleeping (either on your own or because of someone else's sleep disorders), we'd love to have your minds, thoughts and interaction in our New York audience.

Here's the info:
Production / Shoot:
"Beauty Sleep with Dr. Michael Breus"

Date:
July 14, 2007, up to 3 hours
(Lunch and/or snacks will be provided.)

Where:
A New York City area studio (TBD)

The Event/Lecture:
The lecture/show will only last an hour. Time is built in for audience
gathering, seating and other information.

Who?s Presenting:
Michael Breus is a practicing Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a specialty in clinical sleep disorders. He oversees nine sleep labs across Southern California and Arizona as the senior vice president of clinical operations of Arete Sleep Health. In addition to treating patients and training other sleep doctors, he consults with major airlines, hotel chains, and mattress manufacturers to provide effective sleep tips for their customers. Dr Breus is a regular contributor to WebMD. He lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife and two children.

Dr. Breus has made appearances on Oprah, The Today Show, even diagnosing Rosie O?Donnell live on The View. He can also be seen in-flight on Delta and Continental airlines as well as the CNN airport network giving sleep tips to business travelers.

Dr. Breus recognizes the profound yet largely unrecognized impact that sleep disorders have on our health and wellness, performance, productivity, safety and healthcare costs. As Co-Founder of Sound Sleep, LLC, (www.soundsleepsolutions.com) he is dedicated to raising the awareness of sleep disorders to both the public and the healthcare community, and developing innovative education and communication programs for their assessment and treatment. One example of Dr. Breus? innovative educational programming is The Sleep Advantage Program (www.crownePlaza.com), which is currently in use in every Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Americas (60,000 rooms).
