Reading the slobbering, self-indulgent "please give me a job" post today by Brian Stelter just reminded me how preposterous it's been for all these years for some kid in college to be telling professional journalists how to do their jobs.

My advice: public relations for MSNBC! He wouldn't have to change one thing he's been doing.

I'm sure he'll end up in a low-level job at Countdown with Keith Olbermann as a reward for his blind loyalty for all these years, but that's a place where NBC News allows political activists to masquerade as journalists and smear people. So he'd fit in pretty well there.
