The Holy Bible describes Heaven as a beautiful place where people live forever with no death, sorrow, sickness and pain. {Revelation 21:4}

Hell is described as a place of suffering forever for all those who are not saved. {Matthew 13:50}

The good news is that about 2000 years ago Jesus Christ(God the Son) paid for everyone's sins or wrong doing by dying on the cross and rising from the dead after three days. {Mark 10:34}

God the Son came as a sinless man. {Philippians 2:5-8}

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto God(The Father), but by me." {John 14:6} He is our ONLY way to God(The Father) in Heaven.

The Holy Bible says, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God(The Father) raised Jesus Christ from the dead, you will be saved." {Romans 10:9}

You should not wait until later to get saved because you may die before you get another chance and you will miss Heaven.

If you want to be sure you will go to Heaven after this life is over just pray a meaningful prayer like the one below with your mouth and from your heart right now to God and you will be saved.

Dear God I want to be saved. Dear Jesus Christ Son of God I want to make you my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins or things I have done wrong in my life. Thanks Jesus Christ for taking my punishment for my sins by shedding your sinless blood on the cross and dying for my sins. Jesus Christ I now confess you as my Lord and believe in my heart that God(The Father) raised you from the dead. Amen.

If you just allowed God to save you then welcome to the family of God because you are now a Christian on your way to Heaven.

Please copy and send or email this message to your friends and family so they can have a chance to be saved.

I want to be saved from this spam. I go to church and would never dream of imposing my religious views on anyone.
What is this doing on this media bulletin board?

Has anyone cared to point to facts?
Since you brought it up....

1) There is no heaven...

2) We live in hell now... so if anyone is hoping for a better place, that plane left the runway before birth.

3) Can't speak for anyone else's sins, but when I was born I was clean. I had no issues and knew only 'right.' That changed over time of course as all the good Christians around me taught me evil....and said their god judged me if I didn't agree with them or (in current terms) support invading other countries in the name of that god.

Shoot me down man - ready to debate. No where in creation is there a worse place than Earth for humans to live.

Death will be a relief. Could use some quiet time away from all this bantering b.s.

While we're on the subject of religion and creepy fanatics

I actually used to enjoy "Touched by an Angel." It had a very positive message without burning anyone at the stake. I can't imagine anyone watching "Touched by an Angel" and then signing up to be a suicide bomber or a polygamist. Those people are deluded morons. George Burns played a wonderful God in the movie "Oh God." Again, a positive religious message without screaming about some rediculous jihad mania.

Actually, the nuns back in grade school cared enough to share this with me. Then they whacked me with the ruler to emphasize the point.

mkelly, I'm not Catholic but I get the impression that nuns back in those days were a bunch of repressed lesbians.

what is it with those repressed and bipolar people who feel the need to force religion on the unsuspecting public?

I have every second day one of these layman preachers in my subway in the morning and it for sure ruins my day.

Today's incarnation of good send hell was walking up and down the train screaming and singing and bursting out into "did god give you a brain? Use it..."

Long behold at the fourth outbreak I couldn't resist saying, "I do, but what?s about you?" snaring and sarcastic tone in my voice. The backslash was hard from the other train riders. What?s wrong with this country that we prosecute 'moslemic' terrorists, but terrorizing the public with un-solicited religious Christian bs is okay?

Just for DF
DF said, "what is it with those repressed and bipolar people who feel the need to force religion on the unsuspecting public?"

I am very offend that you lumped people with Bipolar Disorder into people that try to always push their religion on you.

I happen to suffer with BP (bipolar) and I don't do that and I have a ton of BP friends, both in real life and in cyber space that do not do that either.

Why would you lump people into a category like that??

Most people that suffer with the CHEMICAL IMBALANCE that is called Bipolar Disorder keep their religious views to themselves!!

Stormy...what exactly is bipolar disorder? Is it similar to manic depression?
mkelly Posted – 6/15/2007 10:37:42 AM | show profile
Yeah, I'd say the holy rollers are all monopolar rather than bipolar-- they just keep coming at you from one point.

Jimmy Swaggart where art thou?

bipolar is the accepted term now for manic depression- that's now considered an outdated term, I believe. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I AGREE
I'm one of the bipolars that totally whole heartedly agree and am glad that thiis article angers so many.bwa'hahahaha..maybe they should chill out ..you know..roll a doobie,get mad and blame christianity and all it's believers for so much of the terrible problems we face in the world today,hehehehe.

non believers can really froth at the mouth can't they?
djteel Posted – 8/8/2007 8:13:33 AM | show profile
one more thingy
btw,yes..manic depression is the sam thing as bipolarity.. doesn't being bipolar sound so much softer and a less serious ring to it? like saying mentally challenged instead of emotionally ill,etc..funny how terms take on less troublesome names as time goes on
