| noname1234 | Posted 6/12/2007 5:55:04 PM | show profile Thought some of you would be interested to know what Stelter's new job apparently is. Apparently he's going to work as a reporter for the NY Times: http://www.buzzmachine.com/2007/06/12/2865/ |
| redknight | Posted 6/12/2007 6:32:21 PM | show profile Golly gee, I thought he'd get a job at MSNBC; guess they didn't want a loser like him. Go figure, going to work at a liberal newspaper that hates America. Good thing he's gone. Now we can get Rupert to run the blog. Blah blah blah, blah blah Olbermann, blah blah blah MSNBC blah blah blah O'Reilly. Blah Blah Blah Blah Times, Blah Blah Blah Blah. |
| One2Three | Posted 6/12/2007 6:50:05 PM | show profile TVN: Journalism at its finest" Let us look back on Brain's work. http://www.olbermannwatch.com/ |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/12/2007 7:44:23 PM | show profile brian's going to the Times - where are you girls headed? |
| brother-trucker | Posted 6/12/2007 8:07:01 PM | show profile The partisan stance of the New York Times' media writers is overwhelmingly documented. Stelter, as a Fox hater and MSNBC lover, will fit in perfectly there. |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/12/2007 9:12:55 PM | show profile But Fox isn't news - where are all you girls going since Brian got the plumb job? Anything is prestigious or promising? |
| One2Three | Posted 6/12/2007 9:41:09 PM | show profile but Fox isn't news but Fox isn't news but Fox isn't news but Fox isn't news but Fox isn't news but Fox isn't news boo hooo i want my mommy |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/12/2007 9:46:17 PM | show profile Where are all you whiny girls headed since Brian got the best gig? Let's see - Field & Stream? Cooking With Bucktooth Virgins? Today's Larva? |
| One2Three | Posted 6/12/2007 10:01:39 PM | show profile The newspaper of Jayson Blair, Rick Bragg and Maureen Dowd I do agree. |
| One2Three | Posted 6/12/2007 10:02:03 PM | show profile The newspaper of Jayson Blair, Rick Bragg and Maureen Dowd appears to be the perfect fit for the fact-challenged, far-left blogger. Opps |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/12/2007 10:30:01 PM | show profile Let me guess one2three landed that job at Cooking With Bucktooth Virgins. We're so proud of you. We knew one day you'd make it little! |
| Dead Air | Posted 6/13/2007 6:36:04 AM | show profile Congratulations Brian. Regardless of what others say about you, the board or the NYT, you have accomplished something that most recent college J-grads could only dream. Best of luck to you and all your future endeavors. |
| noname1234 | Posted 6/13/2007 6:06:13 PM | show profile I posted the note about Stelter's new job because I felt like getting a few seconds of chuckling to see how you guys would turn this kid's scoring a position with the NYTimes -- a gig any news journalist would kill for -- into proof that he's a loser. Plus, I was curious what you would say now that your rock-solid theory that he had an msnbc job all lined up had been proven false. You all came through -- thanks for the laugh! Now, on another note: Mediabistro is looking for his replacement! http://www.mediabistro.com/joblistings/jobview.asp?joid=58221&c=jfhjm Brother, One2, etc.: I'm assuming you're firing off your resumes now, right? Since you have such an intense, intense interest in this blog and such concrete ideas about how it needs to be executed? And I assume you feel you have the knowledge and talent to do this job (clearly with your posting schedule, you've got the time)? Good luck with your application process! |
| noname1234 | Posted 6/13/2007 6:19:38 PM | show profile ps the "you guys" in my message refers to folks like Brother, One2, etc. -- the regular Stelter-hater crew. Not folks like Dead Air. |
| One2Three | Posted 6/13/2007 6:38:27 PM | show profile a gig any news journalist would kill for ? What facts do you have to back this up? |
| noname1234 | Posted 6/13/2007 6:43:54 PM | show profile One2, i'm not going to even debate with you whether or not nytimes is a respected news outlet. But yes, you're right, I was inaccurate in my post. For example: When I said a journalist would "kill" for the gig, I do not actually believe said journalist would commit homicide ini pursuit of the job. I'm sorry if my use of English confused you there. But back to the topic: How's your resume coming along for the tvnewser job?? |
| One2Three | Posted 6/13/2007 6:52:11 PM | show profile Because you know the newspaper of Jayson Blair, Rick Bragg and Maureen Dowd is not to be trusted. Have a nice day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your the smart one Mr. Noname1234 .You should be the one that gets the job. |
| noname1234 | Posted 6/13/2007 7:10:57 PM | show profile First of all, one2, i'm not "mr. noname," i'm "ms. noname" -- but you knew that -- remember, you called me a "slut" when you were posting under your previous identity? Anyway, it's clear that in your expert journalistic opinion only losers work at the NY Times -- I guess they were beneath you when they offered you a job there. So where could Stelter or any other young journalist be offered a job that you'd find acceptable? I know choice #1 -- FOX NEWS BAY-BEEE!!! But assuming not every journalist on earth can be employed there, where else could a journalist get find employment that one2 would approve of? |

| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/13/2007 8:00:16 PM | show profile Bargain Hunter! One2three applied there a year back back was turfed after they found out he couldn't spell automobiles. |
| One2Three | Posted 6/13/2007 8:01:15 PM | show profile First of all, one2, i'm not "mr. noname," i'm "ms. noname" -- but you knew that -- remember, you called me a "slut" when you were posting under your previous identity? NEVER HEARD OF A MALE SLUT??? Don't be so sexist. Anyway, it's clear that in your expert journalistic opinion only losers work at the NY Times -- I guess that publication was beneath you when they offered you a job there? I DIDN'T SAY LOSERS WORK AT THE NY TIMES.ONLY LIBERALS DO.Are you calling liberals losers? I did the samething you did when they offered you a job. Check this site out.Tells you all about the NYTimes. http://www.timeswatch.org/ So where could Stelter or any other young journalist be offered a job that you'd find acceptable? I know choice #1 -- FOX NEWS BAY-BEEE!!! But assuming not every journalist on earth can be employed there, where else could a journalist find employment that you'd find an acceptable use of their time Don't matter to me. The young Stelter can work anywhere he wants. I'm proud of my brutha from another mutha.I'm glad he don't have to hide/deny he's a liberal anymore. He can be open about his love for Olby and MSNBC. I just hope the next person isn't so bias. |
| noname1234 | Posted 6/13/2007 8:45:37 PM | show profile everyone at the times is a liberal? william safire? one2 -- rather than get your view about various media outlets by parroting back whatever's written at"watch" sites, look at/read them yourself, and come to your own opinion! So when was it that you turned down that NY times job? |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/13/2007 9:34:45 PM | show profile The New York Times job one2three botched was that of gum scraper front lobby. |
| One2Three | Posted 6/14/2007 7:24:17 AM | show profile The New York Times job Jazz botched was telling people hello has they walk in. Now Jazz hands out smiley faces at walmart. |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 6/14/2007 7:35:18 AM | show profile 'The New York Times job Jazz botched was telling people hello has they walk in.' this is why one2three can't even get a gig scrubbing chickens at Beaks and Birds - the dude can't write one sentence without a spelling error.... I'm not even sure he'd qualify as a crossing guard. |
