| beccabond26 | Posted 7/1/2007 9:23:38 AM | show profile | email poster When I e-mail a query to a magazine editor, do I just begin with Dear Ms./Mr. _______: or do I need to make it look like an actual letter with that person's name and address followed by the date followed by Dear Ms./Mr. _______? Thanks! |
| Linda F | Posted 7/1/2007 9:37:52 AM | show profile I just write "Dear Mr./Ms." or "Dear Firstname," depending on how well I know the editor. No business letter-style heading. I close it with "Regards/Cheers/whatever, Linda" and my phone number...no mailing address. Hope that helps!
