| tlm | Posted 7/3/2007 12:20:04 PM | show profile | email poster I have an article coming out for a national publication and one of my surfer interviews backed out at the last minute. I'm looking for a surfer, would perfer female, for a Q&A session. But you mst be open to a few racey questions. Email me if you are interested. |

| reporterwriter | Posted 7/4/2007 3:25:15 PM | show profile How about contacting the National Scholastic Surfing Association to find a woman who went pro after graduation? Or the surf teams at Roxy, Billabong, Quiksilver or one of the other big surf-clothing companies? Or a surf shop, which you can look up the going to theultimates.com, plugging in the category "Surf Boards" (phone directory uses two words) and the name of any Southern California beach town, and clicking the search button? The area's home to highly skilled women surfers but whether they're skilled at raciness, I don't know; they kinda more outdoorsy around here. |
| writesonwater | Posted 7/5/2007 2:27:52 AM | show profile You have to wonder if the raciness of the questions is what caused your source to back out of a story ... |
| tlm | Posted 7/5/2007 1:30:23 PM | show profile | email poster Just to clarify, it wasn't the topic that bothered the surfer. It was a last minute opportunity to surf in Indonesia. But thanks for your help. |
